AOL may claim that information is safe, but it is not. I had a charge on my ATM/Visa Check card last month for $59.95...this was a charge from AOL Credit Protection. I am NOT an AOL member and certainly did not order this product/service and did not authorize the charge to my Visa. I don't even know how they got my card number...they wouldn't tell me. I spent hours trying to deal with this division of AOL and as it stands now, they will credit my card in 10-15 business days! Some protection!
