Sprint Nextel on Thursday announced aggressive plans for the expansion of its 3G network, which now covers over half of the U.S. population with mobile broadband data services. By the end of 2006, the high-speed wireless network is expected to reach an estimated 190 million people nationwide and in Puerto Rico, making it the largest mobility network. "Sprint is a mobility services company and mobile broadband leader," said Sprint Chief Network Officer Kathy Walker.

Sprint cant get the 3G network running right. Ive been on the Sprint PCS network for 5 yrs, 90% of the time I cant make a PCS to PCS call after 9 pm, without getting a error message, and to call their "customer Service" or "Tech Support" is a joke. Its all out sourced to other countries that barely understand you when you give them your name, let alone try to tell them the problem your having. The only reason Im still even with them is when I buy a new phone they force me into another 2 yr contract and change the terms. The phones they have are junk and "BARELY" last a year. And Since they started the 3G network, My phone wont work at my house anymore. You would think that would be enough to get me out of my contract, but no, their map says Im in a service area.
HEY SPRINT, fix whats broken before you try something new!
