Parallels Serves Up Desktop Beta 2 August 28, 2007
Parallels has launched the latest beta for its Parallels Desktop for Mac software, an application that allows Intel-based Mac users to run a Windows operating system simultaneously on their Apple computers. Beta 2 of the Parallels Desktop 3.0 update focuses on features that allow Mac owners to automatically share movies, pictures, music, documents and even desktops.

VMware Unleashes Fusion for Windows on Mac August 03, 2007
Software maker VMware announced its Mac virtualization product, Fusion, will be available on Aug. 6, while competitor SWsoft just released a new Parallels beta update that offers similar features. Until now, Fusion was in extensive beta testing -- to the tune of 250,000 users, according to the company.
