Agilysys and Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) announced Thursday that they have signed an enterprise reseller agreement to deliver Red Hat open source solutions to Agilysys customers.
The agreement authorizes Agilysys Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) as a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner, and will enable the two organizations to collaborate in the development and delivery of open source solutions.
"Today, customers are looking for comprehensive Linux solutions and the flexibility of an open source environment," said Dave Williams, vice president of marketing, Agilysys ESG. "Agilysys has a proven track record in the design and implementation of Linux solutions."
Agilysys has deep relationships with a wide variety of leading IT suppliers across a diverse group of industries, said Ed Boyajian, vice president of strategic alliances, Red Hat.
"Together we look forward to helping ... enterprise customers implement flexible Red Hat solutions" to realize the performance and reliability that open source technology provides, Boyajian said.
